Welcome to Good Shepherd Sam!

Welcome to our community Sam Ajisafe. Wishing you a most rewarding and memorable time at Good Shepherd.

"Hello, I'm Sam and I started my teaching career in Port Hedland, Western Australia in 2019. I moved to Darwin in 2020 and worked as a Special Education Teacher at Humpty Doo Primary school. I then worked as a relief teacher in several schools across Darwin, including Good Shepherd Middle / Senior School for one year.

I speak five languages and have visited several countries across five continents. I was a professional athlete - lucky enough to have been selected for the Olympic Games when I was younger. I have since worked in a number of high-level sports institutions across the world. I lived in Qatar for 21 years, where I worked as a professional coach for the Aspire Sports Academy. I worked with three-times Olympic high jump medalist, Mutaz Essa Barsham.

My educational background has been across different countries. I achieved my Master’s Degree from Southern Cross University in NSW in 2015. I am married with two lovely boys and have two precious dogs. I greatly enjoy basketball, judo and athletics. I love being a part of Good Shepherd, working with awesome staff and students."
