'Silent Melody'

My artwork is called 'Silent Melody' because in my opinion, music is everything and the best way to express emotions and music is an amazing way to bond with someone and you can hear the same song but interpret it completely differently.

I made this artwork using collagraph I have done this so that I can get it to look how I wanted it to look like with all the textures. I used the colour orange to help show how the ripples of time can’t stop the music not even fire can stop the silent melody. I put the broken guitar in the middle with the fire at the bottom to show war and disaster because of the guitar is broken it shows broken music and without music there would be war music create a bubble of peace.

My inspiration was my love for music and how it change the world. With the power of music and how it has shaped the ages throughout time from the medieval age they had music to now where we still have music, music connects everyone in the world it is a connection that we all share.
