'All Eyes On Me'

My art piece ‘all eyes on me’ depicts anxiety and self-consciousness about the thought of being intensely observed by others. This has been displayed by utilising colour symbolism expressing the emotions of panic and stress.

I decided to choose lino printing because I was inspired by Käthe Kollwitz by the way she creates such a deep meaning with such simplicity. By creating an art piece with no face creates the idea of wearing a mask having a sort of dream like affect making you believe it’s not real.
