'Fragile Woman'

This artwork is called “fragile woman” and this artwork was created and finished on the May 10 2022. This artwork displays the frangibleness of young women through the dandelion blowing in the wind with the flower being that fragile then petals blow away when there is a small wind.

I used bright colours as the background using gelly prints to get the effect that I was wanting. I got the inspiration from minimalist artwork using woman’s bodies and flowers, I used the dandelions as the flower of choice because it shows personal upheaval. I used twine to show texture on the woman’s body and painted it with black inc.
